LyondellBasell (LyondellBasell) announced on August 30 that the company's polypropylene ACP (HostalenAdvanceCascadeProcess) technology has been selected by Shandong Dongbo Petrochemical Co.

Ltd., a petrochemical plant in Binzhou City, Shandong Province, China, where the 350 KTA HDPE production unit will be utilizing the low-pressure suspension process technology.

According to the company, HostalenACP processing technology produces high-performance, multimodal HDPE resins with a stiffness/toughness balance, impact resistance, and high stress cracking properties that provide industry process advantages in film, blow molding, and piping applications.
